David had over a decade of experience in financial services before joining Nexus in 2024. He is based in Somerset covering clients right across the South West and beyond.

David puts excellent customer service at the heart of everything he does. He provides advice on all types of mortgages and all aspects relating to protection planning, including:

David's professional qualifications include:

  • Certificate in Mortgage Advice & Practice (Cemap)
  • Diploma for Financial Advisers (DipFA)
  • Statement of Professional Standing (SPS)

The Statement of Professional Standing is required by the FCA and is renewed annually. An SPS can only be issued by an FCA appointed accredited body and confirms that an adviser:

  • Has adhered to a code of ethical standards

  • Holds the required qualifications for the activities they undertake; and

  • Has completed appropriate Continuing Professional Development activities and complied with the 'Statements of Principle and Code of Practice for Approved Persons'.
