Neal is based in Portishead near Bristol and joined Nexus in 2024.
His qualifications include Dip.PFS (Diploma in Regulated Financial Planning) allowing him to cover all aspects of financial planning including investment advice. He has a great deal of experience, having worked in financial services for over 30 years, both as an advisor and in investment solutions business development.
When not working Neal enjoys football and currently plays for Portishead Town FC over 45s as well as coaching Portishead Town FC Juniors and Clevedon Town FC Ladies. He is married with 3 children (1 adult and 2 teenagers) and a very lively cocker spaniel.
Neal's professional qualifications include:
- Diploma in Financial Planning (Dip.PFS)
- Certificate in Mortgage Advice & Practice (Cemap)
- Certificate in Equity Release
- Statement of Professional Standing (SPS)
The Statement of Professional Standing is required by the FCA and is renewed annually. An SPS can only be issued by an FCA appointed accredited body and confirms that an adviser:

Holds the required qualifications for the activities they undertake; and

Has completed appropriate Continuing Professional Development activities and complied with the 'Statements of Principle and Code of Practice for Approved Persons'.
